The Beauty (D)evolution of Christina Aguilera: Her Reported Cosmetic Surgeries Including Nose Job, Breast Job and Liposuction

Christina Aguilera is an American singer/songwriter and actress. She has managed to stay relevant through the better part of two decades; and while most of it can be attributed to her preternatural talents at singing and acting, some of it has to do with her numerous cosmetic surgeries to retain her youthfulness. 

It would be an understatement to say that Christina has had plastic surgery. The 39-year-old has come under the knife a few times, to say the least, and apart from her radical weight loss, her plastic surgery has garnered immense buzz.

We look through the years at the (d)evolution of the look of Christina Aguilera, thanks in part to her numerous cosmetic procedures.

Breast Augmentation

Conspicuous by their size, it would be hard to not notice the increase in Christina's breast size.

When she started out, her breast size was speculated to be somewhere between A-cup and B-cup. 

Nowadays, she is rocking a more busty frame, and while the singer/actress has outright admitted to anything, eagle-eyed fans have noticed an armpit scar indicative of the procedure.

An armpit incision is an alternative to people who do not want a scar on the bottom of their breasts to insert silicone implants.

Nose Job

Christina Aguilera also had a nose job at some point in her career, and it is not hard to see why. She went from having a broad nose to a smaller and more immaculate nose in a matter of years.

Lip Augmentation

Christina Aguilera is also rumored to have gotten lip augmentation to make her lips puffier. She joins a long list of celebrities who have had Botox injected into their lips to give them a fuller and more plump appearance.

Her first public appearance since having lip augmentation came at the 2017 American Music Awards where she performed a rendition of Whitney Houston hits. Her performance was lauded, but her terrible lips were panned.

Dermal Fillers on Face

Christina Aguilera attended the red carpet event of the 2019 animated movie, The Addams Family with her boyfriend and two children.

But the talk of the town was her nigh unrecognizable face. The red carpet appearance was a culmination of a litany of various procedures that she has had done on her face. She is believed to have Botox injected on her forehead, under her eyes, and her cheeks. She also reportedly got her jaw contoured with dermal fillers.

Liposuction

Christina also reportedly had liposuction performed on her after the birth of her first child, a son Max, with her then-husband Jordan Bratman, in January 2008.

The surgical fat-removal procedure is the most common procedure in America, and while the fat loss doesn't last more than a few months, it gave Aguilera a head start on her fitness journey.

What do Plastic Surgeons Have to Say About Christina Aguilera's Reported Cosmetic Surgeries?

Among the ones to speak out on Christina Aguilera's rumored surgeries is one Dr.Mark Youssef, M.D. of Younique Cosmetic Surgery. In a sit-down with HollywoodLife.com, the surgeon said:

“Christina definitely looks a few pounds heavier in the more recent picture which could explain the additional fullness in the cheeks and jawline.

Another explanation for the changes in facial shape and contour could be dermal fillers. They are a clear gel filler that is injected deep beneath the skin. They lift and volumize the cheek and jawline area to give a more youthful look. Celebrities just have to be careful to not ‘over do it’ because these fillers can start to look un-natural in large amounts.”

Another doctor to speak out is one Dr. Lyle M. Back, MD FACS, a Philadelphia Area Board Certified Plastic Surgeon:

“She’s had another re-do rhinoplasty, but this was done very well. Cartilage grafts were used to rebuild, support and fill out her nose quite artistically. Her previous nasal surgery was way overdone and her nose was nearly whittled away."  

Dr. Back also went on to say that she overdid her dermal fillers, saying:

“These are beautiful, significant improvements. But then she went too far with the filling of the cheeks. Her cheek implants are creating an overly full, almost fat appearing face and creating dents below them when she smiles because they are so huge. It also looks like she had a chin implant put in.” 

While Christina has not outright confirmed or denied any rumors, her appearance speaks for itself!
