Nevertheless, in 2015, Williams showcased her body transformation after spending three years agonizing over the on-screen look of her arms, belly, and waist. But what prompted her to take a step towards weight loss, and how did she do it? Here are all details about Wendy's 50 pounds weight loss journey in the article. 

Weight Loss of Wendy William 

It wasn't her camera-conscious attitude that kick-started the weight loss. The desire to stay away from heart disease led the television personality to adopt a different lifestyle. 

In an interview with E! News, she exclaimed,

 "I did it on my own, and I love it because I no longer have to do that fight with clothing."

Wendy added,

"I don't wanna wear sleeveless, does this make my butt look big? Those things get in the way of being a good host for the people."

The Martin actress also became a pescetarian. Her breakfast comprises a green juice made from celery and cucumber along with parsley and kale. Along with green juice, she takes a vegan version of a "sausage, egg and cheese English muffin". But someday she just complements the green juice with mixed fruits.

The 55 years old former radio personality noted, "I have learned to be extremely healthy regarding morning eating. I was doing it all wrong before."

In addition to changing the diet plan, The Wendy Williams Experience author also started following an exercise regimen. According to Style Craze, William does cardio three days per week while she follows pilates two days a week. 

The Neighbors actress stated that she does not believes in fad diets, crash diets anymore. 

Wendy Williams Underwent Surgery to Lose Weight

To reduce weight, Williams underwent a tummy tuck and liposuctions. While most celebrities hide the fact about going under the knife, Wendy came clean in 2009 and admitted to getting liposuction and breast augmentation.

In the conversation with E! News, Williams revealed, 

"Yes, I did have a jump-start because years ago I did get the liposuction and a tummy tuck, but I have to say that, if there is a poster child for plastic surgery and the jump-off to a new lifestyle, it would be me."

Nevertheless, the World War Z star exclaimed that she had to work hard to break the habit of eating unhealthy food. After years of cutting the junk foods, she has now started loving the new lifestyle. 

Received Hate Comments for the Weight Loss 

After losing 50 pounds, Wendy Williams became the victim of body shaming. People were criticizing the talk show host for being too skinny.

However, Williams isn't the one to stay tight-lipped about the negative comments. The New York Times best-selling author replied, "They are so jealous. Excuse me, do I look too skinny? I weigh 145 pounds. I am sleek, lean, and living my life." in an interview with Extra
